Hi all! It's time for the big test on Friday and I'm having troubles nailing down the differences and similarities between the concepts of Taxonomy, Systematics, Cladistics and Evolutionary Classification.
They all just mash together in my mind. Anyone got any helpful thoughts? THANKS!

Does it have something to do with our simian heritage?

Have you tried to break each one down to the simplest (is that a word?!) definition, then branch out into the indepth descriptions of each - maybe highlight similar aspects?
Or do the flow chart type thing?
EX.: cladistics - organisms by shared feature - nested groups - primitive & derived traits...
taxonomy - names/classifies/describes - groups - biological similarities...

I don't know if this would be helpful, but some of the things I do to remember - usually if I write something a couple of times, I remember it.

Just call all of the arbitrary systems created by Carl Linnaeus to fool the British.
