I don't know how the weather is where you are, but here in PEI,(in fact most of Canada)it has been really mild. It has made for (what seems) a very short winter. To Canucks, you have to understand what that means. Either you are elated and looking forward to wearing T-Shirts and shorts OR you are *!ssed because your snow mobile hasn't seen decent weather or trails since last year!

Just get February over with so another year (BDay) will come and go.

Here in Philadelphia it has been really mild. The last cold weather was Christmasish, and it's been warm and rainy since.
I love snow, so I wish we would get at least one healthy storm this season.

I live in Ontario, and I am not counting winter over yet. It is only February and even though it is unusually mild, I firmly believe that we are still in for a typical Canadian winter. I am not packing my boots, ice scraper and snow blower away just yet.

Here in PEI it's...oh never mind, Citrusy already covered it. Carry on.

Citrusy and Machiabelli:
Kind of stupid you guys love PEI? it's one of those places I've wanted to visit forever (mostly because of Anne of Green Gables--yes, I'm a geek). And I was just curious...I also think it's funny that nobody I know has ever heard of the place, but a bunch of sploofusers are from there.

I am a CFA. "Come From Away'r".
I was born in New Brunswick (next province over) and raised in Alberta (waaaay over) and moved back here for a change.
Well I got one.
Even the capital (Charlottetown, for you folks wondering out there) is not a 'city' to me.
I like the quietness of the lifestyle and I LOVE the ocean..or at least the salt water.
I HATE the 'slowness' of the maritime way of doing things and getting things done.
Don't even get me started on their driving skills or politics!!!
Overall though, I do like the scenery and people are very friendly.
If you are coming this way..let me know and I will have a bed made up for you.

I know it's not the same as the books (sigh!), but it seems like a nice place to visit if you're from a city and want a change of pace. I visited some tourism page for PEI and the pictures look awesome-a real "4 seasons" kind of place. In Philly, we run on two--muggy, and coolish, with rare bouts of snow/cold. But then, i'm the person who wants to spend a vacation following the "Laura Ingalls Wilder once lived here" trail.
And if you're all thinking "Geek!" I'll admit it--"Yes I am!" LOL

REALLY mild here in AZ

High today was 70 F (that's only 21 C for those of you who were shocked at the high temp!)

Hi all,
I'm visiting Sarnia, Ontario. Minus 4 degrees Celcius, which must be in the 20's Fehrenheit. Freezing my tush off since I'm used to the high 40's on the Pacific Coast (Oregon). Still thrilled. I got my first "toonie" in change today! Ha Ha!

Well, you got your wish (or at least a bit of it). It's lousy out there.
I'm also in PEI and fully annoyed that I have not been able to go snowboarding even ONCE this winter.
I mean....if it's going to be winter it might as well be clement for winter sports or else it's just mucky and gross. I say bring on the snow!!!!

Down Under in Oz, it's high we hit 46 Celsius inland. That's 115 for the folks who are into Fahrenheit.
We are m-e-l-t-i-n-g in the heat'n'humidity!
Will willingly trade some of this heat (say at least 40F) for some nice cool northern winter.......any offers?

Look, gimme a cold one and don't give a crap what the weather is doing.
That's what I got a house for.
