I just completed the current puzzle (tv cops) and discovered four players had done it with moves in the teens!IMPOSSIBLE dince you lose five moves just for typiing in the answer. Five puzzles can not be completed in just over 10 moves. Something is rotten in the state of sploofus. The playing field is not level yet!

Not impossible.
Quite doable depending on your area of trivial expertise.
There are other posts on this that explain how it's done, and it's NOT cheating.
Why can't people just have fun here?

I found the TV cops one really hard and used a lot more moves than normal. Probably because I am in Ireland and also do not watch tv lol
I think there was one I half knew in the entire lot - and even then I did not know the full name.
To be honest the whole thing could have been in russian.
Just because I did so bad it does not make me think others have cheated. I ave got to puzzle 3 sometimes without a letter wrong and in less than 10 moves - then I go an blow it on the remaining puzzles. I will get there one day lol

I was doing great on yesterday's puzzle (the morning one) and ONE WORD cost me so many moves it was embarrassing.
It's definitely somthing you train your brain to do, unless you know the area extremely well.
If they did a knitting wordpuzzle, I'd be all over that!! LOL

This was one where it really could be done..... if you know cop shows

Except for maybe one of mine, the shows were pretty iconic for their decades.

I received one four letter show from the 2000's which I figured was either Hack or Monk.

What tripped me up was that some of the shows said CHARACTER "in" TV SHOW and some said CHARACTER "on" TV SHOW. I lost 6 points twice guessing ON or IN incorrectly.

The CHARACTER "from" TV SHOW was easier to figure out. Still, if you know TV trivia, this wasn't the most difficult word puzzle ever.

That would be the forthcoming one on knitting.

Can I put in a vote for a "Survivor" word puzzle?

Sorry it took me a few days to get these together. But there are 2 word puzzles coming up in respose to your requests. One is on 'Survivor' and the other is on Monty Python quotes. There are quite a few puzzles ahead of them so it's going to be almost 2 weeks before they come up. Enjoy!

Who's Kelly?

I will see what I can do with those suggestions. I make no promises about "Things in Kelly's Kitchen". I can already see the complaints in the forums on that one!
