It's a beautiful Saturday morning here in Southeast Tennessee...The birds are singing, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and God is smiling down on us from heaven...So, enjoy the day where ever you may in the famous words of one cuddly bear who told me just the other day...."IF THERE EVER COMES A DAY WHEN WE CAN'T BE TOGETHER KEEP ME IN YOUR HEART, I'LL STAY THERE FOREVER"....

Love ya all,

You are very lucky to have such a sweet cuddly bear!

I on the other hand have no cuddly bear, am facing heat stroke later today, have to go in to work on a Saturday, and have a dog who just had surgery, drools all over everything and won't take his medication!

But life is still good: I have my Sploofus family , my son and I are healthy, yesterday was payday, and I'm going to see James Taylor in concert tonight!!!

Good morning from southeast Missouri. It's hot and humid and the mosquitoes love us but God is still smiling on my family. Hope all in the Sploofus family have a great weekend. Suzer enjoy your concert and don't work too hard.

NYC area - not so great. Threatening to pour. But, no work today, which is good. AND we got a grandson fix yesterday - took him to a park that has a waterfront, where the 2 yr old delightedly spent hours throwing shells back into the water.

Have a great day, all

Just so I don't bring down the thread - I'm in Texas, I won't mention how hot it is - I'll just I'm glad that I'm still breathing - but I wish I was about to be in the water on the death float!

Shore area, NJ looks like thunderstorms, hot and muggy. Heading down to Atlantic City for a concert and some gambling. Wish me luck!

Good Morning, Vickie & All Sploofusers! Thank you Vickie for the cheerful post! In West Tennesse, we have a heat warning of 105 or above heat index today, but there are many things to be thankful for. One of those is our central heat & air went out last Sunday, and we got it fixed the next morning after a not so peaceful night. It could still be broken. It cost about $500.00 for a fan blower, and thank God we had the money to fix it. Everyone is in good health as far as I know. Everyone have a great day!
