Thanks once again for exposing us to the genius/silliness of Johnny Carson. I've not watched the Tonight Show with any regularity since he left. When I was growing up, in the 60s and 70s, everyone watched it and it was a definite water cooler topic. Times have changed, huh? No one watches or reads the same stuff anymore.

Thanks for another fun Carnac WP, Ron! I almost never watched late night TV -- now I see what I missed.

I loved Carnac - I could hear his voice while doing all the carnac puzzles - no one quite like Johnny

Isn't tit time for a Steve Allen/Jack Paar puzzle, not to mention Joey Bishop?

Smock Smock was Steve Allen's crazy call. I think the wildest thing on the Late Show I ever saw was Jack Paar. Nikita Khrushev was at the United Nations and they were playing the American National Anthemn in the morning about 8 A.M.. To be a smart ass, Khrushev began waving his arms like he was directing the band and laughing at the music. That night in his monologue, Jack asked the band leader to play the Russian National Anthemn and he began to tap dance to the music. Being disrepectful to another country isn't right but they asked for it and really got it. Jack was great.

It's always tit time, Barry!

And reminds me of my favorite Tshirt at a recent Race for the Cure....had a big pink ribbon and said "Save the TaTas!"

But seriously folks, I do have a few more Carnacs (hermetically sealed in a mayonaise jar on Funk and Wagnall's porch) and. since some people like them (thanks!) and some people don't (you know who you are) I'll limit them to once a month or so.

I have enjoyed the Carnacs in the past but they have become an exercise in who can read their Google printout the fastest.
