REVDODD'S FOOTBALL TRADITIONS WP

Great puzzle. Football fans will especially enjoy his examples.

However, I noted one mis-spelling error in a puzzle. Cost a three move penalty, but I caught the mistake right after.

Have submitted a report to have it corrected.

Enjoyed your wordpuzzle, Rev, and did fairly well even though I know very little about football! Thanks!

That was fun! Had to change gears, my mindset was going in a different direction...won't give it away. Maybe another puzzle?

Grrr! Error has been reported. My deepest apologies.

While I'm apologizing, I hope fans of a certain tradition-drenched football program will forgive my not including their school. Alas, there's no way to put an ampersand (&) in the puzzle.

Otherwise, sawing and kissing your date would certainly have made the list.

Tough topic for me, so my goal was to escape with my 5000 points. I made 4900 anyway.

Nice job, Rev.

My last school didn't have a football team T.T.C.----Tilden Tech. Continuation School. Anyone from the Southside of Chicago knows this is a school for dropouts under the age of 17. One of the reasons I joined President Kennedy's Navy in 1962.

That was fun, Rev. Messed up twice, both times my fault.
What is sawing? You won't be giving anything away because you couldn't use it. Just curious.

Rev, I was apprehensive about the puzzle since I know very little about football, but I kept all of my points and truly enjoyed it! You gave great clues, and the phrases were so fun, they actually made me want to learn more about the football traditions. Hat tip to you for making an unfamiliar subject (to me) so enjoyable!
