WHY CAN'T I HAVE A NEW SCREEN NAME ??

Last night I had the privelege and honor of renewing my Platinum membership for another fun-filled year, such a deal ($79.00 U.S.). Before I went through with the transaction, I put in a Support ticket requesting a new screen name--SNOOKERBALLS..
The Support person got back to me and thanked me for the good laugh I gave them (what's wrong with SNOOKERBALLS ??).
I have been PapermanBill since 1997 when I was a truck driver delivering printing and copier paper. After 11 years of this handle, I think SNOOKERBALLS would be a refreshing new way for me to look at my favorite pastime Sploofus Trivia. I think the only way I can change my name is to quit and give up my hard-earned points(although, I don't care about points). Does anyone have any idea how I can get this much needed and deserved new screen name without creating major chaos ?? I don't know if Justin reads the crap I write but I got complemented on an e-mail I sent and how my grammar and letter writing skills improved. I owe it all to the 44,000 fine members of this site. "Please let me be SNOOKERBALLS."

P.S.: My wife knows I'm nuts, this is further proof.

Can we just refer to you as Snookerballs?

BTW, I don't find that at all offensive, which is probably the problem they have with your new name.

Whatever happens, you will be Snookerballs for me from here on out. I've seen more offensive stuff on here - I mean, look at my avatar. That is disturbing!

or you can be The Player Formerly Known As PMB. I believe the only way to get a new name is like you said, quit and sign up with a new handle losing all your points...

We've been asking for username amnesty for a million years.

As I explained in the Support Ticket, it is just not possible to change your name. It has nothing to do with your desired moniker of SnookerBalls. I think the name is a riot.

For whatever reason (and I do not know the reason) Justin has taken a firm stand on name-changing. I do believe that he permitted it one time, but only that one time.

I like the username amnesty idea.

I had no idea that I would be known by my childhood nickname at my advanced age when I signed up for Sploofus!

My vote: YES to Snookerballs. LOL

NO to changing Eesusbejeesus. What a great username!

I've got 55 Showdown tokens Justin, let me have SNOOKERBALLS. I think I've found a use for all those tokens instead of blowing 10% of my total points. Look how happy that Kung Fu guy was when they called him GRASSHOPPER. You could change my whole life, "PLEASE". Anyone think I have lost it yet ??

If you quit and rejoined, changed your user name to Snookerballs, would you keep the same avatar so we'd know it was really you???

I gotta check with this guy Wayne from Alaska. Does his logo stand for Superboy or Superkid, I was first with Superman. Just kidding. If I did change to SNOOKERBALLS, I'd have to go to a site and find different colored balls with S's on them..

If Jim Croce (of "I'll have to say 'I love you' in a thong" fame) could do it, I'm sure Snookerballs can too.

I go to bed between 8-9 PM, but watch movies or Comedy Central. I'm near senior, but I am seasoned.
