DARE I MENTION THESE TWO DIRTY WORDS IN THE "FOODIES GROUP"?'s Sunday and hope this post finds you well!

Do you have a good grip on your coffee cup this morning?

Can you, using all that is within your power, continue to read this post once you have passed the body shudder stage after reading the "two dirty" words I've used?

Okay...great. Then without further ado, the two dirty words I dare mention in the "Foodies Group" are : Low Fat

There, I've typed it, the body shudder is over and now I would like to share this, oh so very easy, frozen dessert.

Couple of brief preliminary notes...

Use any fruit you would like except for pineapple.
Takes 10 minutes to make....5 hours to freeze solid. Dig in sooner if you like a softer dessert!
Makes 40 ounces of non-fat frozen yogurt

1 pint fresh blueberries, washed and drained dry
1 cup non-fat milk
1/3 cup sugar (use your favorite artificial sweetener accordingly)
1 cup low-fat or non-fat vanilla yogurt

PUTTING IT TOGETHER - (Hang's a hard job, but someone has got to do it! )

Place blueberries, milk and sugar in a blender, and blend until smooth.
Add yogurt and blend briefly.
Pour into a 40 ounce freezer safe bowl OR divide equally into desired number of serving dishes.

That is it...a done deal!
If you serve to family or first question would be - why?
Secondly don't mention it is a non to low fat dessert!

Lodi has a potty mouth. I'm telling mama.

Some low carb alternatives I have discovered:

Low carb tortillas work beautifully in lieu of pizza crust for making individual pizzas.

Cut and fried rudabega make good french fries.

Boiled and mashed cauliflower made excellent mashed potatos.

Spagetti squash rather than pasta. Works!
