Slicko's WP was great, as expected. Loved the clues, funny and clever. Usual excellent job!

lots of fun though I did lousy. Just enough to raise a smile, through the tears.
I have one grumblet; one aptronym had at least hree plausible spellings (not surprisingly I guessed right....third time)

amazing to me how you people can completely trash one person in here and do nothing but heap allocades on another oh well maybe it's just me but it's maklng me feel a bit sick to my stomach so I'll refrain from commenting on this wp

Guilty feelings perhaps?

I have no guilt feelings, it wasn't me who did the trashing today

I think people like this kind of quiz because we're all on equal footing to figure out the answers, as opposed to topics that appeal only to people with that specific interest.

I know squat about sports or rock music, but I enjoy puns a lot.

I subscribe to the "turn the channel" method of taking WPs. But I have no goal to be on the leaderboard for any given month. And that's a lot of the irritation to some people, I'm guessing.

People on the extremes of feeling about a WP are the ones who post comments. Human nature.

What's weird to me is that it's all electricity and 1's and 0's - and yet we can feel hurt by people we don't know and will never know. And we can say things here we would never say in person. Being cloaked in anonymity brings out the best - or worst in us, apparently.

That middle percentage just shake their heads and sigh - or just play the games for fun and ignore the personalities and chats and points.

So, first, I had to look up aptronym, then I had to stop laughing when I got the first one right. Totally loved it!

I'm glad someone else had to look up aptronym to find out what it meant!

Never will make the top 10 in scoring, but I enjoyed a giggle or two on this puzzle.

I always look up a word I don't know if it's in the title of an upcoming word puzzle prior - I should have taken this last night as opposed to early this morning and I would have done better (very clever Slicko) - the whole Roby issue had just totally depressed me and I couldn't get in the mood - I knew that I would enjoy Slicko's WP - but it is so sad that Roby left

Nursing Home Doc: Jerry Atric treated my senility
