cool new commercials? Personally, I have never been a follower of professional football but for the commercials and the half time show - it's the one football game I always watch.

Now someone pass the nachos (or a good recipe for them (cough couch Steve cough cough)).

I didn't watch any of it and I'm PROUD of that fact!!

However, I will have nothing to contribute to the lunch table conversation on Monday

I was going to watch it but I had a wardrobe malfunction. I'm not welcome back at that grocery store again.

LOL Lodi!
I tried watching, but really thought it was kind of boring, so I just cooked instead!

Love the Superbowl. Game was a little off and a little dull. But it was in my hometown. A few commercials were really good like the magical refrigerator.

I was partial to the Bud commercial with the baby Clydesdale. That had to have been the sweetest commercial I have ever seen.

I didn't watch any of it - but last night, all the commercials were on AOL. So I watched some of those. Loved the Burger King commercial which was a production number.

I liked the Fedex one with the cavemen and the one in the hospital where the guy kills the fly with the defibralator and says "That kill him!" just as the guy's family walks in.

Whoa I've read about how commercials themselves, as opposed to the products they advertise, are becoming objects of consumer desire. Never seen it in action. Sorry to be a party pooper, but do we wanna go there?
2 more cents...sorry can't help it...

Here is a vote for the FedEx commericals too. We also liked the Horses football game when the "sheep" came streaking acrossed the field.

Did anyone see the one with the cell phone that had a built in security device? That was my absolute favorite.

I attempted to sploofus while the guys were running around on the field, cause I'm not a big football fan, but my dogs wanted to play we did that hehe.

Loved the Clydesdales...saw it coming, loved it anyway. Very well done. I must go and check out all of these other commercials on-line somewhere! I missed a bunch of them. The only other one I remember was the horse's football game.

As for the game itself, it was not a good SuperBowl, IMHO, whether you're a Steelers fan or not. The Seahawks were only ever merginally in it, despite scoring first. The "gadget play" was painful to watch...the fact that it worked was, well, let's also leave it at "painful," since this is a family site, after all.

BTW, neither a Steelers nor 'Hawks fan I didn't really care who won. Congrats to the Steelers fans! But a better football game would have been appreciated...Roethlisberger throws 2 (or was it 3) interceptions? Okay, he's young (the youngest SB winner, actually)...and Hasselbeck didn't exactly use his greater age and experience to any advantage!

As for the Stones at halftime...not too bad, not all that great, except that I am rather amazed at Mick Jagger's stamina and appearance at age 62...the dude is still strutting his stuff out there. Regardless of what one thinks of the Stones, that kind of longevity in a rock band has to be respected. They've been at this for 40-some-odd years fercryinoutloud!

Finally, the "wardrobe malfunction" comment above had me ROFLMAO!!
