LOVED this one...perfect blend of good clues to narrow it down, yet forcing me to think.

Great puzzle; the sort that makes me kick myself and wish i had an extra hour to puzzle out the clues.
I remember a few years ago people saying 'How can anyone take half an hour on a WP?' This was one that woud have repaid that extra it was, I still had a ball.
Smaug if you are reading this, come back and do some more WPs like this!

I am pretty sure that the lyrics were slightly different to the original songs

BBear, I hope you post the clues and the answers when the puzzle ends. I understood only two of mine even after I filled them in correctly.

Didn't enjoy that one so much Bbear - two I did - but my last one - way obscure for know there won't be 5's!

I can tell you put a lot of thought into this and obviously I'm in the minority (I didn't have 11,000 seconds to spend today though LOL!) - so on to the next!

Unfortunately I started puzzle with only a few minutes left before I had to leave the house, so couldn't finish. That sucks cause it was really fun!

That was very interesting- a nice concept. It was challenging, for sure- but being a Beatles fan- I could identify most of the songs that were being "twisted". Still, some puzzles took a lot of thinking and filling in letters- but that's the fun of Sploofus word puzzles.

Nice work Bbear!

I still don't understand the "Mother Superior" and the "We can’t see his face " clues.
A little more explanation please? I'm feeling very dense.

The term Mother Superior was in that song.

I had a different clue for number 10. "We can't see his face" was "Before this dance." Makes more sense, and I knew what song it was right away.

"Let's pretend we just can't see his face" is a line
"Mother Superior jumped the gun" is a line

I really wanted to make them easy by putting in the second line from each song, but the amount of letters allowed for clues is very restrictive so I did the best I could by putting in a well know (or so I thought) phrase from each song.

Glad you enjoyed it. After all the mess day before yesterday I was very nervous.
