TRIVIA SQUARES EDITING QUESTION

I was just wondering if authors were able to edit trivia squares yet or not. I just took one that had a answer misspelled. Had to do the scrambled letters option to figure out which letter had been thrown in that wasn't suppose to be there. I didn't know if authors could edit them yet so I didn't want to send a PM to the author about it if there was nothing he could do to fix it.

Hi,
As far as I know, authors aren't able yet to correct errors in the answers for their Trivia Squares. What they *can* do, though, is go back to their hints/clues area and alert players that an answer is misspelled. I suggest PM'ing the author about it. This is what I've done, and the authors have appreciated it. I hope that helps!

ok so they can edit parts of it....I didn't even know if they were able to do that much. I'll send a PM to him then.

I have found the same things - incorrectly spelled words in the trivia squares but no way to contact the author other than a pm.

You can put a hint up if you have a mis-spelling, but you can't change is once it is up. Pitty.

We can't change them either. But you can add a note to your description or your clue to let the player know there is an "alternate spelling" or you could say something like "(I spelled this one with an 'a' instead of an 'e' - sorry for any confusion!)" OR add a note to your description that says "[after being launched I discovered a misspelling in one answer. Please PM me for the answer if you cannot figure it out. SOrry for the inconvenience.]".

You don't want to give the answer away, so until we can fix them, an apology is about the only thing you can do.
