ANY EDITOR?? PLEASE HELP.

I'm getting the "You have already taken this WP" message, but I have not taken it. (The Gardener's Humor one). I sent in a support ticket, but time is running out.
Help, please.

I'm sorry ZeeDee -- I've had that happen before when I fall asleep and as dumb as it sounds wake up look at the clock and think "OH NO I didn't do the WP" - I've had it happen to me a couple of times - few months back during the change over I submitted the first puzzle and it wouldn't go anywhere - moves changed but there was a javascript error and it wouldn't connect...I try to take it early in case there is a bug - doesn't happen often but sometimes...good luck on the next one!

One of the dumbest things I have done in WP's, and I have done more than my share, was recently when I was going great on the puzzle up to about the third one and attempted to minimize, (Google was running in background) instead of minimizing I deleted. And that was not the first time I had done that. Both were morning puzzles. I guess I'll try making my coffee stronger. Frustrating!

I know what you mean Zeedee....

Yesterday morning I was "flipped" out in the middle of the WPuzzle
Sent in Support Ticket at 10am...Re-set appeared at almost 3pm
Then it wouldn't let me in at about 4pm.... "Already taken it...."
Sent in another Support Ticket at 4.05pm....
sent another Support Ticket at 7.57pm
RESET APPEARED AT 8.11pm....too late of course....

When I tried to get in after that reset....got the NEW pm WP
Got kicked out of that one too and sent in a Support Ticket at 8.22pm
asking for my THIRD reset, in just over 10 hours....
I said in the ticket " What are you Editors doing today????"

That re-set came wih a message from the Editor:
"if you would like to come take over my paying job, I wouldn't be doing
this volunteer job at 11.48PM when I should be sleeping"
"I would like to think our efforts are appreciated, being chastised is not
the best way to get your puzzle re-set"

I like and very much appreciate almost all of the Editors and have always supported them.
Didn't chastise - was just astonished at the problems with re-sets all day
Don't know who you are, and I'm sorry you had to stay up so late
I have said to Justin, and I'll say to you - if it is interfering with your REAL life too much,
don't volunteer....it's not worth your job, your marriage or anything else....

I think that there are two separate issues here. You complained that you had asked for the 3rd reset in 10 hours...and then said, "What are you editors doing today?" #1: The editors are not responsible for the word puzzle glitches. #2: If we weren't here to volunteer to help you, then there would be one less person awake at 11:45 (or 1am or 5am) I don't think that any of the editors are now volunteering to the exclusion of their personal and business lives, but you did ask WHAT we were doing...So that's what that particular editor was doing.

I promise you that none of us was sitting with the support ticket window open giggling and wondering how many times Rowlanda was going to send in a support ticket before her WP was reset.

but now that you mention it....

Some people are as irritable at 7.44pm
as they are at 11.48pm....

I sent in a support ticket more than 30 minutes ago, but I know editors are in short supply on Sundays so I'm taking a more public tack as well. Anyone around who can reset the Mah Jongg WP for me?

It's me again. I've been waiting 45 minutes for a reset of the Snopes WP in response to my support ticket, but time, she is running out.
