Wish I could have watched. Scott is currently on remote control guard where we are switching back and forth between three horrid movies. Blade anyone?

What a race! But they have all been amazing. Now poor Mrs. Phelps can rest. I was crying along with her.

Me, my wife and kids were all on our bed, and trying to help the last guy swim his legs off to win the race. It is totally amazing, what he has done. It's been a blast watching it as well.

Truly a remarkable experience. I was in tears watching him go to his mother and sister. That was awesome!

And the biggest winner is GE/NBC. Phelps brought in a lot of viewers who might not have watched otherwise. Will those new swim fans stick around for another week?

That was awesome wasn't it? The record of 8 gold medals will last for a long time. He made it look easy and he was breaking world records 7 out of the 8 times.

As much as I hate seeing an American beat us Aussies, you've got to hand it to the man (or machine lol). I think he deserves to go down as the greatest olympian ever. Man, it hurts to say that.

And lest we forget, he has done all of this while dealing with ADHD all of his life. That is another statement all of its own.

I didn't know about the ADHD but when I saw his face it fit the profile for Fragile X (like my son) & his mannerisms fit, too (I wonder if he's ever been tested, most children diagnosed as ADHD have not, which is a problem). These often display as high functioning Autistic or Asperger like symptoms. They include repetition, incredible strength & total ability to focus. No wonder he's such a winner & it looks good on him
