I should have done a lot better on this puzzle
after was my words practically verbatum
and some taken out of context !!!!
If you want to carry on with this....I can do that....
Perhaps you'd like to PM me next time instead of
doing it in public for all the newbies to see how
some members like to hold a grudge....
Do you have a personal stake in this????

Thanks for the fun puzzle Linda. I did very well on this one maybe because I read the salty dog quite often. Seriously folks its lots of fun to laugh at ourselves once in awhile.

Great puzzle, Linda Still chuckling

Now for your next set of questions, here's my newest complaint. Why is it the really great puzzles, ones I should do well at are all coming up while I'm too ill to do them justice? I think you're all doing it deliberately. Please run the kind I hate for the next few days. And please join my pity party:') Canadian beer on tap

Can it be coincidence I came out on top here.... I think not.

Loved this puzzle .. I've been seeing those things said ever since I joined. What fun seeing them as a puzzle. You know, we keep giving you plenty of material .. I'm sure if you go back a little ways you can find plenty more

I was lucky to finish my puzzle about 3 a.m.- before the maintenance what do-you-call it.

I fell asleep on the sofa [couch potato last night ] - woke up early and realized I missed playing it. Lucky break for me.

However, I did not place very high, so I must not have recognized those pesky complaints very well.
Just filled in letters.

Two reasons I believe- peppermint patties for low stress levels and

my motto--------------------- WHAT, ME WORRY?

Great puzzle for sure- fun to take and reflect upon.

I was asked to post the 10 answers to my WP (MAURLIN's Pesky WP Complaints) because Sploofus was down for the last few hours of it. Here it is, with the clues in parentheses:

i know nothing about the subject and i dont want to learn ("I'll stamp my foot!")
this topic has been beaten to death already ("It's repetitive")
its not fair having puzzles about your country and not mine ("Xenophobic")
youre just making this quiz difficult so i wont get a good score ("Paranoid")
i know more about cooking than sports so do one on recipes ("Change the topic!")
my spelling of that word is correct and the one in the puzzle is not ("Dummy!")
i dont like using up all my letters to figure out that word puzzle ("Indignant!")
we dont like authors who write ridiculously difficult puzzles ("No challenges for me!")
you could at least have used a better clue so i could google ("Help me!")
its a waste of time to just punch in letters ("I'm bailing!")

I like the ones I didn't have in my puzzle. Still liked the quiz!

Thanks for posting your phrases, Maurlin! My number one complaint is that I missed your puzzle because Sploofus was down!

Thank you Linda for posting all 10 questions.
Now I don't have to feel so paranoid, because
I didn't say at least 6 of them....
Pity I didn't see all 10 before today, wouldn't
have made the comments I did about your WP
