In the spirit of Maurlin's WP complaints I'd like to suggest that since only a small percentage of the world's population drives we should not be having WP on such arcane subjects as traffic regulations....

Nice puzzle and at least one of them made me smile in recognition of things I've done.

I think we have quite a few drivers in my area who follow these rules!

Cute puzzle and yes, one to make you smile.

Since the cell phones have come along we have a lot of drivers in our area who can't seem to talk and drive at the same time so we have a lot of people who would not believe that these regulations were not the right way to drive. Very fun puzzle. Thanks for giving me a good laugh. Charlotte

Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed or what, I don't think anyone has been complaining about the puzzle everyone so far has said it was fun. Go get another cup of coffee and read the post again. Charlotte

Excellent, Fun Puzzle and clues....thanks
One of these infractions costs you $5000 in
Toronto, so not as many people are taking chances....
I agree with the post that phones are a MENACE
I refuse to talk to my friends if they are driving when
I call, even if they have a bluetooth!!!! Driving requires
constant concentration....

One of the reasons I took early retirement was the changing parking regulations in downtown Chicago. For years, I might have gotten four or five parking tickets per year. During my last year on the job, I was averaging $200.00 per week. My boss was going crazy and almost accused me of doing wrong. I purposley took two weeks vacation (in the winter) and the driver who took my place had the same situation, and he did less work than I did. Parking in an urban area is a very trying matter. When it snowed in Chicago, people would put out chair where they shoveled and expected nobody to park in that spot. Needless to say, this did cause situations. The truth is that everyone should walk.

Being a part of the small percentage of the world's population that drives, I liked this puzzle, good one!

I loved it.....I just wish that I wouldn't hit the submit button until I checked my typing. Had my fingers on the wrong keys. DUH moment of the day. Great puzzle however and I did laugh.

I passed my Pennsylvania drivers test at the state police barracks- way back in time. I'm okay. The state police officer was a little queasy that day, I recall.

Having completed it - none of these apply to me- well, time to hitch up the horse and buggy.

A funny and all too realistic puzzle!

You must live in New Orleans because those are all the rules here!

Great puzzle!

Interesting and fun theme for a WP, Sploofinder, and I'd say these are definitely the unofficial traffic regulations in New Jersey. Good clues, amusing and oh so true phrases made for a very enjoyable puzzle, thanks!

It's a good thing we don't drive this way... there'd be more accidents than ever! Fun puzzle!

getting and giving the finger was one of the
puzzles I got, I think.
The fine for parking in a handicapped spot
was $100 when I left Toronto.
Now - just 5 years later - it's $5000 !!!!
Guess that's a deterrent !!!!

Sounds WAY too much like Sydney, Australia!!

The speed limit is supposed to be 60km per hour, but most do 90km per hour six inches apart in city streets....terrifying stuff for a non-resident!
Many of the road regulations seem to be treated as "Theoretical suggestions" rather'n "Rules"
