My parents live in the same town as Randy on Vancouver Island. They're fine and felt no tremor or anything.

I'm from San Diego, and as a kid, while rehearsing some sort of school play, I was once knocked off the stage by an earthquake. (I survived. ) I also lived in northern California for several years and barely missed the 1989 earthquake there. Still, I'd rather be in California than New Jersey, meaning no disrespect to any New Jerseyans who love their state.

Hi Lodi....
Just talked to Randy and she felt no tremors either.
She has been awake, having problems sleeping and
it was about 7am there when I called. Her rash is
bothering her a lot and stopping her from resting properly.

When I lived there, my dog used to literally quiver when
there was an earthquake anywhere between Seattle
and Alaska!!!!

Thanks Row. I worry about the Divine Miss R with Ed working so far away.

Its amazing, isn't it, that she can be so medically miserable and still be such a joy?

Thanks for caring, ladies Quake was off northern tip of Island, not big enough to do any damage. I might be be able to shake, rattle & roll for you if I put on Jerry Lee, though

I remember, Randy, one New Year's Eve on the Dick Clark show, when Jerry Lee kicked over his piano stool as he was doing a lot of "Shake, Rattle & Roll"!

Hi Randy,
Glad to hear you're OK! Sending good thoughts your way that the rash clears up soon so you can get some sleep!

I heard my kids say something about a volcano erupting. Then again, it may have been the Mexican food.

Geri, how did you come to be in NJ? I've been here all my life except for a few years in NY state. I wouldn't trade the ocean for anything. I must have sand between my toes! The politics of our state are terrible though aren't they??!!! I figure it's about the same everywhere. If you're from CA, I understand wanting to go back. Home is home...

So it's all OK, no volcanoes
nor any earthquakes....
No teeter totter....
