Don't know nothin' about movies, but enjoyed the puzzle. Thanks

These were from my era so I enjoyed the puzzle a great deal. Wish I would have taken more time and gotten a better score, but I hurried through as if I had something important to do!
Good job.

I took a long time, but it didn't help me any. Very fun puzzle!

It took 1 puzzle to figure out half of the WP recipe, but it took until #5 to get the whole enchilada I understand the 5s now.

It was the type of puzzle where "fivers" were possible. I expected the key to be the word "material", so I geared up for movie titles with that "hook".
The clues clinched it-- all the movie stars in my puzzles were easily identified by their last name only.

I enjoyed this little ditty.

Yes it was generous to give s the actor's name.
A less charitable setter would have made the googlers work harder by saying
'Ginger's partner' or 'Austerlitz' for 'Astaire'

Well, my brain must have been stuffed with mohair for this one, since it took me a couple of phrases to figure out what the hemp the key was. Then the went on. Despite my own thick-headedness, I really enjoyed this WP, Sploofusgenie and had a lot of fun! Thanks! Indeed, I can say I cotton to these WP. Yes, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool supporter.

LOL, I messed up my emoticon in my post above! That should be a lightbulb instead of a heart!

Geri:- your emoticon was fine. I love light bulbs too. They brighten up my life.

Piece of cake. Loved it !! I think I saw all those movies on late night TV in the 50's.
