KINGS ROW (1942)

I just saw this gem the other night for the first time, and I've got to say that I was blown away by the story and the performances! Ronnie Reagan was actually GOOD in it! The only other film that I've seen where I've enjoyed his performance is in Don Siegel's version of Ernest Hemingway's, The Killers (1964).

King's Row, and several other classic WB titles are available to watch for free on a few different youtube channels, so check that out!

If anyone in the group would like to comment on the film, it's performers, Reagan, anything (!), please do. There's nothing I love more than talking movies, so lets talk!

I too really liked that movie. I remember the first time I saw it and was totally blown away when Ronald Reagan awoke to discover his legs were gone. This movie also had such a stellar cast that no wonder it is considered a classic today. Thanks for reminding me that I haven't seen this great film in quite some time. I think they have it at the local library.

Kings Row is one of my favorites. I didn't realize what a good actor Ronald Reagan was. I recently purchased the movie so I can add it to the rest of the old classics I am collecting.
