TODAY'S SNOPES WP

Those are too much fun. How on earth is there a way to tell what is real and what is fiction. Thanks, two great ones in a row.

I just went to snopes.com and clicked on the RANDOM button over and over. Whatever pages came up, they usually had a big red FALSE or green TRUE at the top. Some pages don't say, or say "unknown" or "unverifiable".

I picked the ones I thought were interesting (and not too adult) and condensed them to fit our 75 character limit!

Great theme for puzzles.
When in doubt about facts; fiction & urban legends- point your scope to snopes.

Yet another fun puzzle, Sploofizz, thanks! My two favorite clues/phrases were:

1. paul simon surprise - title for mother and child reunion inspired by chinese chicken and egg dish

I didn't know this, and it cracked me up. (heh heh)

2. correct change - canadas one dollar loonie created when original coin design was lost

I liked this one because my parents live in Canada, and when they told me about the Toonie (2-dollar coin) being introduced back in 1996, I thought they were kidding. If you haven't seen them, the Toonies are cool with a polar bear named Churchill on them.

Loonies and Toonies....
In recent decades Canada has had an enormous influz
of Chinese....and I think the toonnie design was meant
to be a copy of a Hong Kong coin of about the same value.
It is two toned - gold centre, surrounded by silver.
Very innovative and attractive design....
That's if you're interested....
