By the way, the editors are picking on me again. I went from Snookerballs to Croquetballs. I'm going to start trouble, but I'm watching football FIRST.. Starting now. "GO BEARS !!!".

Is it possible "croquetballs" are bigger than "snookerballs"
And therefore, it was a subtle compliment????

I see LIU stands for "Lobe Insertion Unit"
Is there any significance in that ????
Where will it be inserted ????

Fun puzzle - I took a lot of hits for making wild stabs. But that was part of the fun.

How are the editors picking on you?

Don't tell me. Croquet is not a sport?

Fun puzzle, btw.

I agree. It was an interesting puzzle with good clues.

BTW ... Croquet ... definitely a full-contact sport in my back yard. I especially like the mallets.

I just pray everytime my husband gets his foot set to knock my croquet ball away that he miscalculates and knocks the side of his foot or his ankle instead! Ye-s-s-s-s-s! The enth of enjoyment.

Oops, sorry Liam I really came here to say I enjoyed your puzzle but got rabid about the game of Croquet instead. Really did enjoy your puzzle.

Always love your fours, Liam.

At least you weren't named basketballs. That would hurt.

That's right Donna, I say it's not a sport, you must've been reading my mail. I've had five Support tickets today about this and don't really want to waste my time talking about bad questions and bad decisions. I can't wait until I lose a ton of points on a Marbles or Jacks question in the Sports Soup category.

I read your mind, man, not your mail. Not like this is the first time we've ever heard this, dude. Sorry you're having a bad day. Sheesh.

Sorry, if I sounded hostile Donna, I actually tried to make a joke of you reading my mail, you answered that cleverly. You are also right that I have voiced my opinion on questions exactly like this (about four now) and I will continue until I quit. I am not a sore loser or a bully like someone suggested I'm trying to be. I find it interesting what a complete history Sploofus has on me and all the questions I have answered and the times I did them in. Isn't it strange that they cannot delete bad questions or even change a person's screen name ???

Yet another great series of Fours, Bill! Nice assortment. I really liked your selection of "urban conveyances" and the inclusion of some veggies or "greenies" to keep us fit for all this mental activity! Thanks for a fun puzzle!
