I always do well with Randy's wp's. I think she likes the music I used to like.

I love this style of puzzle. The clues made my brain hurt, but I'm glad I didn't miss this one.

great puzzle; baffling clues -- I must just be too stupid because some made sense but others i suspect went over my head.
Thanks for a great puzzle.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I puzzled and puzzled over the clues until suddenly the light would go on. Took forever but I thought it was a great challenge

Yes, please explain the clues tomorrow. Obviously I'm dense! I remember that your explanations last time made sense after I heard them. Thanks for doing the puzzle. I'll do better next time...maybe

Thanks to all who enjoyed it Bad news to those that didn't I've still got one on Real oldies & both old & new country to come & then I've got puzzle Two for each era. Though I'm releasing them slowly to ease the pain. The clues are either synonyms or phonetic of mostly the original artist or at least the most popular version of the song. All the puzzles have some form of the word love in them. Here's the answers to this one.

OC That’s Amore Almost Heavy

Phrase 1: addicted to love bites

Robert Palmer/Def Leppard

Phrase 2: in and out of love in an elevator

Phrase 3: i just called to say i love you down
Clue 3: Lil’ miracle/preps globe
Stevie Wonder/Ready For The World

Phrase 4: lawyers in love on the rocks
Clue 4: John sun tan/shiny jewel
Jackson Brown/Neil Diamond

Phrase 5: i wanna be your loverboy
Clue 5: Mini king/Will’s sea
Prince/Billy Ocean

Phrase 6: i want to know what love is a stranger
Clue 6: Alien/your rhythm Mac
Foreigner/Eurythmics

Phrase 7: modern love is a battlefield
Clue 7: Wee bow/pet Ben attar
David Bowie/Pat Benatar

Phrase 8: sea of love canal
Clue 8: Bee juicey/smart dolphin
The Honeydrippers/Flipper

Phrase 9: woman in love will find a way

OC's puzzles are challenging- but fun to decipher. Concentration and knowledge of music is the key.

I'm ready for those puzzles coming up! Spread the love~
