I WILL BE ON WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE 9/29 AND 9/30

So if you want to watch a fellow Sploofus player have his shot at a million dollars - tune and and watch it. My name is Jay and I'm on two days since time ran out before I finished my game. The air dates are Sept. 29th and Sept. 30th, 2008.

It was great fun and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. If you want to know how I did - tune in and find out. You can find your local station and air tiime by visiting the official WWTBAM website: http://www.millionairetv.com/tunein.html

My first Sploofus quiz was based on countdown clues I came up with prior to my taping date - there is room at the top (no perfect scores yet) so feel free to give it a shot and take top honors.

I've been enjoying sploofus and especially have enjoyed writing quizes, is my aptitude in writing quizes, playing trivia, neither or both? Let me know and if you do watch my episode - let me know what you think.

Thanks,

---Jay (WWTBAM just 8 days away - one week if you beleve the beatles!)

I wouldn't miss this for anything. Hope you won lots and lots of money. Years ago my dad was on bowling for dollars if anyone remembers that show. He didn't win of course but I was on the camera along with my 6 week old daughter and husband. Lots of fun.

Is this a syndicated show? I haven't been able to find what channel it's on. Out of 40-plus channels you'd think at least one of them would have it on.

yes Pat.. it is syndicated. the market where my family lives in southeast Tennessee haven't picked it up either.

David aka mightydog has flown to NYC twice in the last 4 years to audition. he got a couple of Tee-shirts and pencils with the 'Millionaire' logo for his efforts so far.. lol

Jay, i am thrilled you were picked to play. i will be watching and cheering you on. i can't wait to see how well you did.

i have a question for you. Is Merideth Viera as charming as she appears on camera?

Just got done watching you Jay. Good for you!

And, try some poutine sometime. Although known to Anglophone Quebecers as the "Food of the Oppressors" I still make my Anglophone hubby buy me some every summer when we visit his parents in Montreal. YUMMMY; you can almost hear your arteries clogging up.

Now, what ya doing with the money. Let's see, it might put one of you ten kids through school for one semester.....

Congrats!

Saw it all - you should be very proud! And you did a great job.

Except - You have no idea how many times poutine has come up in Sploofus quizzes. I recall that it was even in a Word Puzzle at some point. I had never heard of it before taking quizzes here - but now I feel like it is an old friend. Ya gotta do more of those quizzes!

Awesome job Jay!!! Although I should have been one of your lifelines lol.. poutine is my downfall. If I'm going to cheat on a diet or cure a hangover.. it's poutine all the way! lol

Poutine is big here in Montreal and is a local dish from Quebec. Not low cal or low fat. It is a plate of french fries topped with lost of gravy and curd cheese. I personally never tried it as I am not a big fan of french fries and gravy.

Thanks so much for your detailed post Jay. I wanted so very much to see the show
but couldn't find it on the TV schedules here.
I bet $25,000 is a useful amount to have when one has 10 children....hope you bought
a wonderful treat for each of them, they sound like loving caring children and they really
shared the experience with you. They must be very proud of you for giving them bragging
rights amongst their friends....
Well done....glad you didn't llama....
