Definitely challenging and well-conceived. Now if I could just remember to check for typos on every answer!

A great way to start the day with a little twist and an enjoyable puzzle.

I liked Chubby Checkers, he was easier.

Wow, *three* errors and I'm still teetering in the top ten. "Tough but fun" definitely applies.

Got to the last one before I slapped myself on the head and said "now I get it". Very, very cute. Well done.

Now that it is over, just wanted to say that I loved it. I really appreciate the puzzles that cannot be Googled. I know that they are more difficult to construct, but I wish they were all like this.

I really enjoyed this one, Sploofanatic! It was a new twist on your "twisted" theme. Plus I learned something new -- I didn't know that Da Vinci designed a ropemaking machine. I can understand him never building it, as somehow, I can't envision him playing jump rope. Lots of fun, thanks!

Geri, He may have known the local hangman.

I liked it too. The first one had me completely baffled because I was thinking along the lines of the previous twisted puzzles. Once I caught on it was really clever. Quite a "twist" on the twisted puzzles.

Da Vinci probably invented rope in case
anyone needed to tow their car....
Also....wasn't hanging popular at one time
Guess they didn't have meat hooks then!!!!
