I just came from picking up my boys from school and my youngest son Justin was very upset and crying. Come to find out one of his best friends in band was killed this morning..From what little I know Clayton was riding his four wheeler before school and lost control and flipped it. He was only 15 (same age as my son)...Please remember Justin in your prayers that he can get through this and also remember the Endicott family who lost their son this morning...I know you guys will be here for us...thanks so much.
Love to all,

How tragic. It is a terrible loss. And I feel sorry for your son, who is at that age where losing a friend is so hard to understand and rationalize. Our prayers are with all.

That is so tragic. I can't imagine what the other family is going through. My son is 15 also - don't know what I would say to him in this situation. I feel for you, and for your son, and that boy's family. No wisdom here on this subject - just sending warm thoughts your way.

Good thoughts and warm wishes for your son and the family of Clayton... My future sister-in-law died in a car accident when I was 16 (coincidentally, I didn't know she would have been my sister-in-law at the time). She was the first person I knew to die. It was very difficult but, my friends and I stuck together.. and my mother was my rock. She held me while I cried and listened when I talked. She had no magic words, just love - and it got me through.

Deeply sorry for the family and friends.

Hopefully, tomorrow the school will have counselors available to help the kids and be there if they want to talk. That seems to really help, and they usually come up with ways to give tribute to their friend.

My best friend lost her adult son in a four-wheeler accident and it breaks your heart to see everyone hurting so. Perhaps Justin can come up with a way to do something for his friend - perhaps plant a tree somewhere for him .. something that will be permanent.

Justin will be in my prayers as well as the Endicott family whose pain is so great in these heavy days ahead.

Some years back my cousin lost his 15 year old son. It happened one morning on his way to school. A friend of his son came to pick him up that morning to give him a ride to school when they were hit head on by a drunk driver. My cousin and his wife have had a very difficult time dealing with the loss. I pray this family and your son will get through this terrible loss.

Thoughts and prayers going to you and your family. A Paul McCartney song comes to mind right now, part of it goes "when I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom". I'm sure you are the "mother Mary" to your son Justin during these hard times.

I am so sorry tell Justin that I am sorry. My son Matthew lost one of his best friends in a car accident and he ended up wearing a suit coat that she had bought him as a gag gift as his suit coat for his wedding. They were never boyfirend/girlfriend just real good friends. My prayers are with Justin and you and the family who lost their son.

A student of mine died in the same type of accident. His classmates were devastated by possibly their first brush with mortality. You have my prayers.

Death is never easy, but when it involves one so young, it's even more difficult to bear. Everyone touched by this sorrow is in my thoughts.
