I enjoyed it a lot. I did have one that was an absolutely perfect answer that fit letter for letter and was not anywhere near the right one. I will share it tomorrow 'cuz it was kind of funny too. Thanks for a fun mental workout.

I caught on after the first puzzle, too. Then the third
puzzle didn't fit. Neither did the fifth.

It's happened before. That's life in the big city.

Another freakin' typo on my part cost me points again! Still, it was a very clever and amusing puzzle. Good work!

And we have a WINNER! GREAT PUZZLE.
The satisfaction of getting into the setters mind and getting one without letters almost makes up for the feeling of idiocy when you miss the point on all the others.
Bravo editors.

Frustrating at times and very challenging, but a fair test and a cleverly conceived and designed puzzle.

I got one without letters - as a matter of fact I have the autograph of the person in the puzzle - after seeing the final results, realized that at puzzle 4 if I hdn't got stuck on 5 I was heading for a top 10 - fun puzzle

So for the George Romero one I entered this answer: The Dawny Brasco of the Dead starred Al Pacino - fit perfectly and I thought it was a pretty good answer - should have tried to put in at least one letter but being stubborn I went for it. It only took one letter to realize that it was Any Given Sunday of the Dead starred Al Pacino, but I thought mine was kinda funny.
