I've always hated the pop quiz. Imagine my horror when the first one I get was about one of my WPs. Eeek. Who can remember what we learned over the last weeks? Pay attention? Stop sleeping in class? Didn't happen 30 years ago, not happenin' now, apparently.

Great puzzle

Really WAS a quiz for me because I had not done some of them due to a glitch in my dumb computer. So going in blind so to speak, I guess I did a less than fair job.

When I'd gotten the specific puzzle referenced, it was easier (I even got one with no letters), but when it was a puzzle that wasn't among my five, it was much tougher. Still, a good memory test for those who had the puzzles in question!

Nice idea --again!
if I'd known I had to keep still would not have helped.
again like tallactor I got one with no guesses which almost made up for the other four.

Fortunately I had a few of these puzzles when live, so it helped me score pretty well.

Non paying members will suffer however. [suggestion to those affected: please ante up and increase your enjoyment !]

I wish my memory was better however. Still, Sploofus is full of challenges and surprises.

Fun change of pace

That was a memory stretcher all right. I actually got 2 of them with no letters, but it did take a lot of head banging on the computer to bring those phrases back.

Loved it!

I really enjoyed this one a lot. I got a couple of phrases that I hadn't had before, but that was OK -- I got to learn more about what Smoke serves at her house on Sunday. Ribs, wings, beans and slaw -- sounds yummy.

Thanks for a lot of fun, Sploofishy!

Al - I ever so humbly apologize - I misread your post. I translated that to being one of your puzzles. That's my brain on too many Peppermint Patties. Where is PP Anonymous when I need them?

I enjoyed this puzzle. I am with Geri, the food sounds good at Donna's house on Sundays.

I must humbly apologize for doubting Smoke's taste in food. Faced with a foodstuff spelled S-A-, I couldn't think of slaw, so I guessed M. The 100 point penalty was my just reward.
