After a quiz is online is it possible to move it to a different catogory? For example from General Trivia to Experts.

Yes, go in to edit your quiz, choose a different category, once it says its saved, just exit. If I remember correctly, that is. But I have done it.

Yup, I re-assigned about five of mine to "Trivia Experts Only" after a bunch of folks moaned about the difficulty!
I did ask Sploofus first though, if I may.

You can re-assign quizzes. But don't re-assign them to a category where to do not fit. Like don't put a history quiz into sports unless all of the questions are sports related. Don't move a quiz out of the FITB category without permission.

Definitely do not move a quiz to a different category if an editor has previously moved it. The most common move by editors is moving a quiz into the FITB category because it too many FITB questions. Even if a quiz is all history questions, it must go in the FITB category if it has a bunch of FITB questions. If the author has put a quiz with FITB questions into a history category, it will be moved by the editor. Personally, I always tell a person if I move their quiz to a different category, and also give them my reason for doing it.

May thanks for explaining Sploofusionist.
I have moved my Fascinating Feline Facts into Experts from General trivis - Animals. I had 4 players get 20% last night and my AR dropped like a lead weight. So just incase the difficulty rating of 7 stars is not enough to warn people I thought I would move it.

I wonder if anyone could help with this question -
Which would be best for your own quiz taking results - being third with 40% or being 15th with 100%?

I took the quiz and found it first rate. Moving it to the Expert categories was a good idea. It is tough, and should do better with a crowd that expects a challenge, and is less likely to rate based on their own performance.

mrsgc - I believe that your Sploofactor only looks at your score and your time and then calculates based on how many quizzes you've taken..."place" has nothing to do with it.
