I'll be honest - as we just had our homecoming, I'm always a little confused as to the point - I mean I know it's a tradition - but so often (and not always) the people who win, I just don't get.

I just saw this on the morning news and so went and looked it up - I listened to the kids on the news talk about why this particular girl won - and thought - "wow what an awesome story!"

I saw that in the paper here yesterday and thought how truly wonderful that was. I love the kindness and love from that article.

I saw this on the news and I thought it was one of the nicest stories I'd heard in a long time. What makes it even nicer is the story on TV said the other queen candidates had campaigned for everyone to vote for this girl.

The parents in that school should really be proud of their kids for creating a once in a lifetime memory for this young lady.

Thanks so much for that really sweet story. I had tears coming by the second sentence. I am amazed at the maturity of these kids, and my son and his friends. They are much more mature than I was at their age. I hear my son and his friends talking and I am so proud of how responsible and caring they are - makes me hopeful that there are some capable hands in which to place the future.
