IS IT JUST ME?

Twice I have reported getting booted from a word puzzle after submitting the first answer and I never received a response. I am just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.

I just finished and was able to get through the whole puzzle with no problem.

Barb, we don't have a Support Ticket from you requesting a reset. If you are filling out the error reports, they go to programming. Editors never see these, and we won't know you've had a problem. When you encounter a problem with the playing of a WP, click the Help link at the bottom of the page and send a Support Ticket, and we'll do our best to help.

Barb - I just checked and you have sent in 10 Support Tickets, all of which have been answered. The last one was 5 days ago, reporting a mistake in a WP about Alanis Morrisette, not about getting booted out.

Then I checked the Bug Reports system and I see you have reported your problem there. You and about a dozen other players have been mistakenly reporting this problem through the green "bugs" icon rather than the "Help" link. These are two different kinds of reports.

Bug reports are for Justin's information, and while it is helpful for him to see how often people are getting booted out of WPs, that is NOT the place to request a reset, as the Editors do NOT routinely look at those reports, cannot reply to them, or close them when they are solved.

For a WP reset you need to use the HELP link to request Support. It is also helpful if you tell us the puzzle title as we edit from several different time zones and are not always sure we are still IN the same puzzle you got booted out of.

One last thing: This problem SEEMS to occur most often in the first 15 minutes after the new puzzle goes live. If you could please experiment with NOT starting the puzzle until 8:20 Sploofus Time it might help.

iT HAPPENS TO ME REGULARLY NO MATTER HOW LONG AFTER THE PUZZLE GOES ON. HOWEVER, IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN RESET AFTER I SEND IN A SUPPORT TICKET. MIRIAM

Thanks Editors - Like Barb1111, I also sent a Bug Report about WP problems (the same reoccurring one, when trying to submit my answer to Q#1, the system failed to give me result/progress to next question). I am glad to hear about the correct procedure for reporting this type of difficulty.
