AM I THE FIRST IDIOT..... type in a wrong letter into one of my own WPs?
In my excuse I hit a letter just as the keyboard shifted in time delay after my last entry...but I did feel stupid!

I don't always remember exactly what I wrote...and when I take my own I just quickly put in a, e, i, n, r, s, t and somethimes they aren't there!

I doubt you're the first, count me among your number. Today's puzzle was great! Thanks.

Nope- it's happened to several w.p. authors [not me, of course?}
however, you may receive a demotion temporarily.

Enjoyed your puzzle Barry.

Was tricky at first until I caught on to the theme.

We often don't have a clue about our puzzles, as they are often written months before they are published. That makes is that more fun.

Great puzzle!!! Tough as nails, even after I figured out the clue, but a LOT of fun. Looking forward to more from you Barry.

Barry - I never remember what I write. When it is my turn for one of my puzzles, I let my husband take it - he tells me what letters to type. Senile brain that I have, I just obediently type the letters in. In my teacher puzzle that was up yesterday, I finished with 4900 points; I had no clue that a letter he gave me wasn't in my own puzzle. Pathetic, isn't it?

When my last puzzle came up I was away in Beijing and recruited one of my fellow workers who had expressed interest in the WP to take it; I remembered enough to stop him hitting the wrong letters but he still would have scored worse than the 100 that we eventually finished with. Which was a good indication of how tough these puzzles really are!

You can't feel stupider than I do for accidentally hitting the "Enter" key in the middle of the first puzzle, costing myself three totally unnecessary moves. Anyway, great idea for a WordPuzzle!

Rowlanda - It was exactly what the title promised, with a twist. Think about it.

Garry: It's simply an indication of what a superb job you've done with the puzzle!

Look at it this way: if it was so easy you remember it right off the bat, it wouldn't be a challenge for the rest of us.

And, alas, I've done the same!

I've done it twice with my "Fours" puzzles because the Editor moved the position of the words for space or slightly changed the spelling. All my fault.....

No. I claim that title and blazed that path months ago. Please do not steal this one time I am at top of the leaderboard. I am head idiot here. I earned it, I deserve the title, and I'm guessing I'll keep that big belt for years to come.
