I was looking up new words added to the dictionary (in this case Merriam-Webster) -- leaf peeping got me to thinking. Here is a list of words phrases added this year

And w00t -- Last year, the lexicographers at dictionary maker Merriam-Webster proclaimed w00t its Word of the Year.
who knew?

Well that was interesting.

10. malware n (1990) : software designed to interfere with a computer’s normal functioning or in my case

software to prevent player from ever getting a yellow or blue screen in WR or WM. It is the opinion of this player that VISTA is Sploofus phobic.

Everyone have a great weekend.

So who is going to write the quiz about this......
I'll give someone else first dibs -- but please post here if you plan to do it! Otherwise I'll come back and do it soon.

I will admit I was composing one in my head after I clicked on the above URL and saw all the choices. I will, however, step aside so you can do one. Go for it, Barry!

I don't understand why w00t is written with two zeros but then I don't get that whole way of writing.

But are we not all avid shoppers now? Haven't you checked them out? They sell something new everyday and have the wackiest stories to go with the items! I bought an 8 gig flashdrive for 15 bucks (plus $5 shipping). But I go tot he site everyday to read the stories

I wrote that quiz about two years ago. Of course, whatever words I had in that quiz (who remembers?) are now old hat.
