Thanks, Bev! Interesting site, plus it has a lot of other links you can go to. Since it's Spring where you are, do you still have Halloween Oct. 31st? Just wondering about that!

Halloween is a very low-key, almost non-existent event here in Oz.

I totally LOVE it, and even had a "Halloween in July" party last year (our mid-winter).

I have participated in Halloween in the Lower 48, Canada and Alaska, though!

Now I wish I was having a party! These are also great ideas for teachers.

These are some neat ideas. I didn't get through all of them, but just the page one ideas were great. I especially liked the one about feeding the kids a spooky meal before they go trick or treating.

Our church puts on a "Trunk and Treat" event, where people open their trunk lids and decorate their car in some way and they hand out candy to kids from all over town. This year they are bringing in a couple of the big blow-up jumping toys kids love to play on. The church my son attends is doing that also, but they are also having ponies for pony rides and a fire truck for kids to get rides in.

Great ideas. I'll be using a few of them.
