How did I get through 2 years of Catholic nursing school and not know this?

All Hallows aka All Saints Day -- In terms of Western Christian theology, the feast commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in heaven. Specifically, in the Roman Catholic Church, the next day, All Souls' Day, commemorates the departed faithful who have not yet been purified and reached heaven.

I searched high and low for the patron saint of Trivia but failed

I did find a site that will email you the The saint of the day -- kind of like TOQTD but not....

Same as Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, the day before Ash Wednesday every year.

The evil day before the holy day.
