Got to say that is cute. I wonder what breed they are? A radio show here in Ireland set up a web cam in a bluetit nestbox last year. It streamed from the parents building the nest to the chicks hatching. It was a bit of a sad story as only one of nine chicks survived to leave the nest. The whole sorry story unfolded live on the net, it was so popular that it even made the national tv and newspapers here.
The experts blamed the fact the the chicks died from stravation because the parents could not get enough insects, due to the area where the nestbox had been setup ( in the presenter's garden in Dublin ) was in the middle of a house building boom destroying all the green field areas.

They are Shiba Inus. The great thing about them is that they won't get too much bigger than that and they tend to always look a little like puppies.

My co-worker's husband set up a web cam for live streaming video on Thanksgiving last year so family around the country could see what was going on with family on the holiday.

Not as cute as watching puppies sleep, but it was noted that the father-in-law didn't budge off the sofa for 6 hours.

Adorable! If you turn the volume up really loud you can hear the sound of one of them quietly snoring.

I thought there were five before and now I'm counting four. Very playful for a few minutes then back to snoozeland. The one in the back isn't moving at all. They're a riot!

They're related, actually. Akitas and Shiba Inus are both Spitz breed dogs. I think Chows are the "mother breed" so to speak.

Both Japanese dogs though, I think

If the previous link isn't working for any of you, here's another one:

http://www.ustream.tv/videoplayerpopup/channel/317016

And here's some additional info from their site:

The six Shiba Inu pups (3 boys and 3 girls) turned 5 weeks old on November 11th. This is the first litter from their mom, Kika.

Girls:
- Autumn (Purple collar) - 3 lbs 5.8 oz (as of Nov 11th)
- Ayumi (Yellow collar) - 3 lbs 3.4 oz (as of Nov 11th)
- Amaya (Red collar) - 3 lbs 6.6 oz (as of Nov 11th)

Boys:
- Aki (Green collar) - 4 lbs 0.4 oz (as of Nov 11th)
- Akoni (Black collar) - 3 lbs 12.6 oz (as of Nov 11th)
- Ando (Blue collar) - 3 lbs 1.2 oz (as of Nov 11th)

I am SERIOUSLY addicted.

I was watching them at about 5AM this morning.
There always seems to be at least one awake
and thrashing, about trying to make one of the
others play

Ando is so funny...he is the one usually sleeping while the others are thrashing around all over him. The cam shuts down sometime during the night and comes back at 8am Pacific time. Mum does a feeding around 8:30am Pacific also, but I haven't caught that one yet.

Saw on the news today there have been more than 6 MILLION views of these puppies. Just goes to show, "cute" sells! It will be interesting to see if the new owners will put up the puppycam in the puppies' new homes.

Gracious - they've changed so much just in the days we've been checking in on them. 6 million views. It's a wonder no one has offerered them serious money to sell ads on the site (or maybe they have). We all need a break from the things that consume our days to just chill and see the miracle of happy life.
