RESTAURANT.COM FEED IT FORWARD PROGRAM

For those of you in the US, Restaurant.com is a great source of incredibly inexpensive dining certificates. During one of their sales, you can buy a certificate that will get you $25 off dinner in a restaurant you probably go to anyway for about $3. So, you are walking into the restaurant with $22 extra bucks in your pocket.

Right now, they have a promotion to help stimulate the economy. You can FOR FREE send $10 certificates to 3 people. FOR FREE. You can do that every day from now till Christmas. You just keep going back to the website and enter 3 email addresses, and those people will each get a FREE $10 certificate. The cost to you is ZERO. All you have to know is their email address.

What a great thing to do for teachers, friends you don't see very often, and fellow Sploofers. So, right now everyone should put restaurant_com@emailrestaurant.com on their non-spam list, so they will be able to receive their certificates.

And go give these free certificates! It's really fun to give something great that doesn't cost you a dime.

I've never seen this site before. There are actually a couple of restaurants that we frequent listed. Is there a catch? It sure seems like a great deal, except for many of the diners and pubs it would be impossible for two people to rack up a 35 dollar tab.

Anyone else used this?

I use the site all the time. There is no catch at all. Once you purchase the certificates, they are good for one year. I always pay by PayPal, so the whole thing is very easy.

I either buy them when they are having a 70% sale (sometimes 80%) which they do fairly frequently, or I buy them as we are headed out the door to dinner. We decide that we are going to go to Restaurant XZY, and I buy the coupon, print it out, and we continue to head out the door.

Just read the regulations of that restaurant. Some you cannot use on Friday or Saturday nights. Some are not good off drinks. All depends on the restaurant.

It's been around for a long time - and I've given gift certificates from it before - often times - especially with the tough times, people cut out the extras like treating themselves so this is a good thing -

I have several groups that I'm in that are consultants/distributors for companies (like avon, discovery toys, etc) - so I sent it out this morning to them - after giving 3 of them the gift...it's a great way to spread a little joy...and thanks for posting it because I would not have sent any out this year....hopefully I actually get one

I've started hitting some Sploofus names with free certificates. Some of you should be looking out for them - I suspect you may know who you are.
