I have never bothered to deselect a category of the TQOTD, as I just took pot luck on what I was to be asked. For some reason, I cannot now find the link where one can deselect a category, if one so chooses. I am just being my usual self, ie stupid, or is this now erases from Sploofus?

I'm 95% sure that this option isn't available through 2.0. I can say that those of us who opted out of categories on the old sploofus were allowed to carry this over to 2.0 with us. I still opt out of physical science, but I don't think there is a way to do it in the new version of sploofus.....

I've seen this discussed before and I think that was the answer that was given. If you opted out of a category in 1.0 it carried over to 2.0 but we no longer have that option. (darn!)

Unfortunately, Jeremy is quite correct.

Many members have sent in Support Tickets on this issue, but I am sorry to say that the editors cannot direct you to an "Opt-Out of Category" feature, nor can we fix it. All we can offer you is sympathy! Only Justin can fix that particular problem.

In the meantime, I suggest that you report the problem via the Green Bug at the top of the page. If that matter is already reported, then we can only await Justin's intervention.

Maybe I;ll use the green bug thousands of times and perhaps he will see and address both this and other broken features--tired of being pissed at you guys and hear your frustration, but am really seeing red that I have been paying the top price thing for such a long time for a broken game that worked so much better-believe in most areas-before he offered us "new and improved with empty promises of still "BETTER" things to come-please don't allow him to make any more changes and then disappear-think I'm done with my rant for this morning-Linda @

Well Linda, what are you doing up at this hour of the day anyway!? (Goes for me too.) I fell asleep in the chair, then I'm awake for a few hours. But it's about time for me to go to bed to get some "real" sleep.

If I had a computer set up in there, I don't think my wife would forgive me.

Hey I'd like the chance to opt out of one category, well actually three!

Having said that, it's always mildly satisfying to get something right - whether by knowledge or good luck - in one of my weaker areas.

And while waiting for Justin, you may join me in waiting for Godot.
