I was a little aggravated.....I had to wait on the new page to load, and it took a few seconds for the clip to play. I could have done three other things on my computer while I was waiting!!! Seriously, that was a good clip. I grew up in a time where we still had rotary phones, and I remember when touch buttons were the most awesome thing to come along. No more getting my fingers caught in the dredded zero dial! Wouldn't it be something just to enjoy life sometime???

He was 100 percent correct. I don't know how many times when I was working that I would apologize to customers because it was taking the computer so long to open a file. How silly is that?!

Excellent. Too bad the people who need to hear it will never get it.

So true, Chickie

Now, another excuse to bring up how much I miss Meribeth & Lodi . While we were at that Death Float they realized I didn't have a cell phone. MB said I was the only person she knew who didn't have one. Though I may be sorry some day if there's an emergency, for the most part I really don't need one. I believe I may be turning into an old foggey

LOL! So very very true...

Recently many went without electricity in NY area for up to and over three days. Most coped and helped one another with heat etc. A day can be handled...but then, by the second day on, no batteries could be charged (gas pumps not working...had to save gas for emergency), no water from wells, etc etc.

The hospitals are already preparing for the flood of new babies coming in 9 months or so... overpopulated would we be without all these toys?

I adored that. I may watch it nightly. Randy, I KNOW that I'm an old fogey. I blame a lot on my age......but I have always been out spoken. My daughter in law says that I scare her but that she always knows where she stands with me. I can be overbearing......I am totally honest ....... sometimes overly so and that gripes the heck out of people. Ya get that with age though. LOL. Thanks for sharing that Chick.

I think the savy-tech generation should be required to watch this in school. It would enable them realize there was a simplier, more gentle, and more thoughtful generation that wasn't so self-absorbed and perhaps put it into prespective.

NOT....they wouldn't understand without their cellphones or I-pods in their hands..

That guy was so funny and everything he said was so true. My parents are in their 80's and they each bought a cell phone and they hardly ever use them. They believe they should be used for emergencies only. They still live the simple life and they are very happy. I expect them to live well into their 90's, at least I hope they will because I will miss them so much.
