Did everyone find this one of the hardest wps ever?
I've never filled in the whole puzzle but one word then sat looking at my remaining five letters, stuck on one word TWICE before.
Good puzzle; I may not be wiser but I'm better informed.

I obviously didn't have the one Barry had. Agree it was tough, but nowhere near as tough as that food one the other day with tons of ingredients I'd never heard of. Overall I thought this one was pretty good.

I liked it a lot. Messed up one word, which was a common, non-foodie word. Totally my fault.

Another educational puzzle to solve.
Fairly difficult since I don't watch the Food Network.
But I learned some interesting information. Maybe it will come in handy if I ever play the Cash Cab game

There is one word I didn't know, didn't get and actually got quite mad that it was included. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

I try very hard not to put in a "gotcha" because I think they are mean.....

One person's "gotcha" is another person's "how can you not know that?"

Forgot to say I enjoyed the puzzle in spite of learning a new word.

Actually, I found tonight's "Santa Claus" puzzle much tougher than the Christmas foods one, but that probably just reflects the puzzles I got. One of my "Santa Claus" puzzles contained what appeared to be a very unusual variant spelling, and this puzzle was one where Googling led to all sorts of alternate descriptions that sometimes varied wildly from those in the puzzle. Much tougher, in my opinion.

baked carp; syllabub eggnog: peacocks- let's just say that I prefer good ole Pennsylvania Dutch food.
Especially peppermint patties.
