It is one of the best kept secrets here now, I believe. Go to the very bottom of the page and click on "Help" and thatrt will get you to where you can reach any editor. If your particular issue is not addressed both Other and Comments work. To get most anything fixed that is currently fixable has to be done by sending in a support ticket. They seem to prefer the ticket than a list of endless complaints in the forums though they obviously read them-but believe the original "Heads Up" here was quite appropriate.Linda

My apologies to everyone for my mistake. It was an honor to write the puzzle for this special day, and I tried hard to make it a special puzzle. I read it over many times and thought I had looked at each and every word, only to return home to find to my extreme chagrin that it's true - spellcheck won't always save you.

Looks like it was caught and fixed early, thanks for that. I'm very sorry and more than a little upset with myself.

Happy Holidays, everyone.

Sploofanatic,
If I may be so bold, I think you're being too hard on yourself. It was indeed a special puzzle -- thought-provoking and full of interesting facts. My two favorite clues/phrases were:

Many faces of peace - it may be the end or absence of war an inner calm or simple silence
Respite in no man's land - enemies sang and shared food during a spontaneous wwi christmas truce

I enjoyed it a lot, thank you!

I thought it was a wonderful puzzle and appropriate for this time of year. Like Geri, I enjoyed the definition of peace phrase.

Thank you, I very much appreciate the comments, and it truly was a pleasure to research and share the puzzle. I'm not really being so hard on myself, Geri, but it is frustrating to make an extra effort to get something just right and still manage to overlook one critical missing letter (and of course they're all critical). Arrrgggh! I can't even blame it on the tiny font in the puzzle grid, I composed it in Word in Arial 14, and of course two different spellcheckers missed it for obvious reasons. I did post the puzzle rather late, plus the tiny font in the grid and our light holiday crew is why no one else caught it.

For those who may have missed it, which I hope was almost everyone, the Japanese Peace Bell at the UN is STRUCK, not STUCK twice yearly. ($)

Peace to all!

Great puzzle- with some interesting facts.
Hard to believe that Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini had been nominated for Nobel Peace Prizes.
