one of my favorite this year. And there's a joker in there that made me smile.
Just the right combination of skil and knowledge...that's a keeper!

Great puzzle. I love weather stories. Why did I do so bad? :S

good puzzle, but how could anyone spend 45 minutes or an hour solving it?

Phone rings. Somebody at the door. Dog won't stop barking. Wind just blew the dog's pool for water OVER the fence into the golf course so had to get out and go running after it as it bounced down the 17th hole. Bathroom break. Sad part of movie in background - had to cry a little while till the happy ending. A.D.D. Forgot to put out the trash but hear the trash truck coming down the street. Baby woke up and needed bottle NOW.....

Googled and discovered something so interesting it engrossed us for awhile.

And I forgot to include:

Wife insisted you get up and fix the toilet like you promised all morning and meanwhile she's holding your laptop hostage. I mean, your computer.

I liked the puzzle.

Four interesting facts for me to file away and one "personal" observation from the author that I found amusing.

I just learned The Weather Channel has a series by the same name.
Might be worth watching.

I always enjoy anything having to do with history, so this puzzle was a winner with me! Lots of interesting facts and fun! Thanks!

Hubby's favorite stuff. Watches the Weather Channel for kicks and has about a dozen websites bookmarked. Needs to know what the weather is daily in Montreal (his hometown) and all points between on a daily basis. He loved this one.
