Haven't noticed folks from MI, Ohio, Ind, Illinois, etc.. online for a bit now. Hearing there is flooding and power outages-be safe-Linda

I live in SE Michigan and our biggest problem has been wind, like right now, but the flooding around here has been mostly farm fields etc. I took the dog to our usual place in the boonies and the Raisin river was overflowing but not a threat to anything. We just had to change our trail a little.

We were w/o power for nine hours Saturday night into Sunday morning. Got down to 63 in the house and took three hours to warm it back up to 70. So glad it wasn't really cold outside, just around freezing, not the zero and below from last week. The wind is horrible to listen to

Today is nice out, can't believe we had ice and snow just a couple days ago.

Western suburbs of Chicago checking in. Thanks for thinking of us in Illinois! I live near the DuPage River but am on higher ground, so no problem. Odd weather with t'storms after an ice storm. Lots of wind yesterday. Today was nearly 50 and likewise tomorrow. I saw a hamsom shirtless guy walking around pounding his chest -- PMB, was that you?

Hi! Reporting from Suburban Detroit and Northern Suburbs - We had tons of snow until a few days ago. One day in the 60's changed all that. Some of the rivers are very high, but I haven't heard of any flooding. Today has been extremely windy (some folks are without power) and the temp went up to 45F. More snow is predicted for tomorrow. Dontcha' miss all this fun Miss Linda?

Hedy, what I miss is looking out my window and seeing snow fall and cover the ground. What I do not miss is driving in it nor shoveling it-Linda
