I was looking forward to doing Sploofishy's "World O' Sausages" quiz...and was part-way into the first'un when the guessed-letters refused to load. In the end, I had to back outta that'un and reboot......
So I don't get to do that'un at all now!

Well, I just managed to do the sausage puzzle at the last minute. I thought I knew a lot about one of my favorite foods, but it turned out to be a really hard puzzle for me!!! They never asked about polska kielbasa or wurst!! Instead I was stumped by a Chinese sausage called Cheong something!!

Sorry about your troubles, Bushyfox. Remember, if you turn that sad sausage link upside down, it's a smile. And Barb, Brats and Kielbasa were in there, just scrambled together with the others.

french andouille
english bangers
german bratwurst
mexican chorizo
scottish haggis
polish kielbasa
chinese lap cheong
american hot dog
italian pepperoni
swedish potato korv

My version had no brats, no kielbasa!! However, in fairness to the quiz, it did include hot dogs and chorizo! I do like food puzzles, so I shouldn't complain!

I was done in by the Swedish Potato Korv. And my mouth was really ready for the andouille!

It was a good one - makes you have to really think and look deep. Keep up the great work.

I didn't have - english bangers and I am not sure it had - mexican chorizo or chinese lap cheong
I was suprised to see scottish haggis as I was not aware that it is classified as a sausage - or perhaps it ccomes in sausage form. I suppose it fits ' skin with filling so it would be technically a sausage. Not that it martters - I won't be rushing out to have some when I go there in June as I can't stand Haggis lol

I was kinda half-expecting Portuguese Linguica on the list, though?
