For all the newer people, would someone please explain what a sploofactor is and how one gets a sploofactor - and whether high or low is better.

(For newer people. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Your Sploofactor is a mathematical number based on several factors including the number of quizzes you have taken, your accuracy and your speed. Higher is better. Unfortunately many of us who have been around for awhile have awful Sploofactors. Back in version one there were several glitches - almost like "antiflukes" on quizzes. I had many quizzes where my time registered something like 1,000,000 seconds so my Sploofactor was shot. I am hoping someday Justin can address this and perhaps start us all at 0 again. It's a nice idea but unfortunately rather meaningless.

So you're saying it's not like an ERA or a golf handicap.
