Kitty Baby (as you recall in our last episode, SHE told me that was her name) has completed her shots and spaying and has rested comfortably the past 2 days in my bedroom. She now comes to me when I call and likes to be held and have her neck and nose rubbed until I just have to get up and do something else (like get on Sploofus). She easily takes her medicine. She cries for me when I leave the room, but until she is totally well, I can't let her roam the house when big brother and sister are inside.

And so the saga ends with a beginning. She will stay. I can't find anyone else who wants her, and the dogs DO want her - and so do I now.

Thanks again for all your help and ideas how to tame the wild child.

The end.
And the continuation of the beginning.

Life is good! Janice has accepted her position as Adoptee. Wild Child will nurture you, she will love you, she will own you. You are now hers. Lovely ending and beginning.

There is nothing more wonderful than to have been chosen by a cat.

It is a purrfect family. 3 cats (2F 1M), 3 dogs (2M 1F). They don't borrow my computer, they don't pull the blankets off while I sleep, they don't care what I weigh or if my hair looks great, and they don't eat my cooking, so those are never factors.

Well, almost purrfect. I swear they hide the remote.

That is wonderful news Janice but I knew all along that you probably wouldn't be able to give her up because you are now bonded forever. You now belong to her and she belongs to the dogs. I hope that makes sense. Any ways there is a lot of love happening.

Dang! You mean I can't blame the husband any longer, Janice! (4 dogs all female + 4 cats - 3 f and 1 m)

(shhhhhhhhh, Karen. No way - ALWAYS blame the husband, no matter what! My son is 34 and hasn't lived at home since he went into the Marines at 18. I STILL blame him for stuff I can't find!)
