HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A QUIZ REMOVED FOR ITS CONTENT?

I had one of my favorite quizzes removed. It was in the humor section, and thats what it was "humor" I had gotten lots of compliments from people who really enoyed it. It was one of my higher scorers too. then one day Poof gone.
I actually havent made any since then. I'm sensitive that way.(sniff sniff)
Anyway, I have taken quite a few so called trivia quizzes that should have been yanked for having No content what so ever. hopefully they were or will be.
I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

That seems unfair. It would have been nice to be notified if they felt something was wrong with your quiz before deleting it. I suppose you lost all your points for it too, huh?

I was admin for a brief period last year. We tried to notify people before removing a quiz but it was not always possible. I have been on Sploofus almost since the beginning and YES, even I have had a quiz removed, lol.

My son made up a quiz and it did have some typos, the quiz was doing fairly well and had been on for a while. One day he asked me how it was doing and when we checked it had disappeared. I was a little annoyed because there had been no warning and I did not receive any notification.
What gives Sploofus.
There are many quizzes on here that need to be removed, even one today with arrows pointing at the correct answer.

Oh I'm sorry I left out the part that I was notified that it had been removed after the fact. points and all. I guess that they had recieved a few reports about it so they removed it. Wow I wouldnt guess that they would remove one without notification. I'd better go check.lol

If a quiz has been reported using the official "Report This Quiz" link 10 times, it will then be manually audited for compliance with quiz eligibility guidelines. The quiz will then be deleted if deemed appropriate at the editor's discretion. We're doing our best.

Good job Sploofus! Whilst I must admit to not being a prolific quiz writer, I put a great deal of effort into the ones that I do pen. I find it extremely annoying when I do a quiz that has "nope, not this answer" or "try this one".. etc etc as content. It just seems lazy to me. There are so many of us who do put effort into our quizzes, I wonder if anyone else finds it mildly insulting to do a lacklustre quiz? After all, if you rate it poorly you risk becoming a "ratings bomber"... I would never claim to have excellent quiz content, but I always do my best.

i wrote a quiz on mt 9 years experience in Alcoholicc's anonymous. everything i wrote i deemed as fact. It was removed as said it was opinion. Perhaps best as AA does help many folks. I'm in no way bitter just believe because of my questions it was just as factual as most of the quizzws are. Linda

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard for the administrators to hit a button that sends a message like "change this quiz to follow all of the rules by such-and-such a date or it will be deleted"

Now that we CAN edit quizzes, that should be the simpler and more member-friendly way of handling things!
