Just a note to let you know I am home. I appreciate the well wishes both private and public that wished me well. The test was to explore blockage of my arteries. Good news is my heart is fine and this is a test where you get immediate results. I have much blockage in my left arm main artery but other less important avenues are getting blood there. The vascular guy attempted to fix it via 2 ways but couldn't. He said he can with surgery and will do so according to the pain I have in that arm. Looks like I'll be around a bit longer to annoy many-thanks again -Linda

That's good news!

[A few years ago, I had similar concerns about my circulation. Turned out I had blockages in three arteries.Genetics was my big risk factor. I caught the problem early and had the "plumber" unclog those pipes.]

So happy that everything turned out well for you! I too have had issues with blockages. Starting at the age of 50. I've had angioplasty three times, one stent and then bypass surgery 4 1/2 years ago. Thanks Mom and Dad. Thanks a lot.. Many people in my Mom's and my Dad's family died at a very young age of coronary artery disease. I turned 62 a couple of months ago, so I'm not exactly ancient either. Yet here I am! Doing pretty doggone well I might add. I know without a doubt I am here because of modern medicine and one doctor that listened to what I was saying. Be well Sploofus people! See your doctor if you have any concerns about your heart and get it checked out. It COULD save your life!

After reading this over, I've decided that I am quite the blabbermouth. I pirated a message to Linda wishing her well, to yak about my own health issues and lecture all you folks about heart health. I'm sorry I'm a blabbermouth. I am not sorry about the message.

Blab on as much as you wish and perhaps someone will think twice about that funny little feeling that just comes and goes and then make that appointment they have been putting off for too long.

That's right, Headylamar. don't ever apologize for sharing your thoughts and feelings. You may save someone's life by sharing your experiences.

What amazes me is how forgiving our bodies are. We neglect exercise, eat foods that aren't good for us, fail to see the doctor as often as we should, refuse or forget to take our meds .... and yet, when we turn that corner and get the distinct message that we'd better give up smoking, get some exercise, etc., our body will heal itself, beginning almost immediately.

We are wonderously made and should not take so much for granted.
