It's cold outside this morning, we have flooding in some areas here in Rhea County, there is no school today and every once in a few I see snowflakes....My kids are safe and healthy, my hubby is getting a raise, I'm getting a break from working crazy hours, and I just wanted to say howdy to my family here on the island...Isn't it a beautiful day?
Love ya' all bunches...

Cold, rainy, sleety, if my backyard is any indication, we have flooding. The dogs are curled at my feet, the coffee is hot. Perfect day to spend at Sploofus with all the good people!

It is not so cold but we are smack dab in the middle of the "big" storm in the Great Lakes area. My daughter is disappointed it's not a snow day. Every region surrounding us is getting hard weather - freezing rain - and have either cancelled the busses or closed the schools but, ours remain open. Was an interesting drive into work without snow tires. Looking outside now it has lightened up considerably. The snow is falling slowly and beautifully (and I hate winter lol).

Me and mine are healthy, I have a job that still pays and family and friends to distract me from the weather. It is a good day.

It was a humid 103F here yesterday..but happily, a cool southerly change last night has made a cool, overcast and slightly-drizzly day today: fresh breezes abound!
I it!

Surrey UK is going through a 10-year coldest, down to -12C.
Ridiculous for this area!!

It's a bit cool here in Sarasota, Florida, with today's high predicted to be only 70°F. The low tonight will be 47°F and the day is clear but not yet sunny at 0800 hours! Everyone have a GREAT day no matter what your weather is!

I can never remember the conversion. How cold is -12 in Fahrenheit? I know that 20 is comfortable there, right?
It's 17 F here this morning. I just worked 14 hrs in a hectic ICU and drove 20 miles home on snowy and icy roads.
But tomorrow, I fly to the Big Easy to visit Bbear and her hubby. It's supposed to be close to 70 with thunderstorms, and I LOVE thunderstorms. Can't wait to walk around the French Quarter with an umbrella, (perhaps) stopping here or there for a little something to warm us up. Looking forward to dinner at one of the worlds finest restaurants, Galitoire's, which we only have reservations for because des guys know the right people (the waiter).
Lucky me, that RJenson introduced me to Sploofus while we were goofing off at the hospital one night. You are a fantastic bunch!
