Yeah- I'll keep reflecting on that clever puzzle for awhile.
Kudos to Oogie

A fun puzzle!

But, never think you've "got it made!"

Had the first four solved in four moves, then took 10 moves on the last one and lost 700 points!

Awaiting 8:00 PM...

Fun puzzle, Danny, and I did better than I do on most of the ones with few letters! Usually I lose points coming and going on those. Thanks!

Yo! Oy....

I didn't do very well, but it was clever!

So much fun! I aced four of them, then tripped all over myself on one. Most enjoyable and clever!

I blindly plugged letters in on the first one, but once I caught on and actually worked out the excellent clues on the rest it was a real delight. Please come up with more of these!

Hate to sound redundant but clever is the best word to describe the puzzle. Great idea, great clues - thanks Oog.

Yup. Clever. Also cute, fun, and over way too fast.

Great puzzle and I just wish my first clue had not been so hard (at least it was if you're an idiot...)

I got 3 of them with 0 letters, 1 with 2 letters and 1 with all the rest it takes to get to a 24....still lotsa fun.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone, couple of them were difficult to contrive adequate clues for....I'll try to improve on future installments.

dual laud was the one that got me. I think the clue was encore cheer and I think 'praise' might have been fairer....

Yup - I got dual laud first and was sunk from the start. I bet the 5-ers didn't get that one.

But this was the kind of puzzle I love! Please do more word play WPs.

I'm very disappointed I missed this one, Oogie! It sounds like it was a lot of fun! I look forward to your next one!

Dual laud was the one that got me, too. Loved it anyway!

Suzer asks a great question. Did any of you 5-ers get that one?

I had dual laud first also. It was downhill after that. My brain panicked, packed up, and flew to Tahiti. I think I finished practically last. But I thought it was a really good WP.

Dual laud killed me on my fourth puzzle. I'd have liked "twofold praise" as a clue.

Didn't get that one.

Stupidest mistake ever: typing "parts tarps" for the clue "items tie-down." It's a good thing I'm not Jewish because I obviously can't read right to left.
