This was really cute. I know I say this a lot but I mean it or I wouldn't say it: I hope you have more puzzles like this one in the works!

That was so much fun. Very nicely done. I just wish I wasn't rushing to work! Please write more - I'll get up early next time.

Very nice job - major kudos to the author - this kind of puzzle is much more difficult to create than it might seem. Terrific choice of movies too.

Very well written and funny (when you stop to think about it.)

That was too fun. I didn't even know two of them but the ones I did know the clues were terrific and the answers were darling. Slicko is right; ones like that are harder to write than you would think.

Great fun Took an inordinate amount of letters to get my favourite movie though, many lashes with a wet noodle for me

Darn, I was really looking forward to this one and I missed it by 5 minutes. Very busy day today! Got a haircut!

Now I 'm ready to answer trivia questions on radio station contests when they ask about the plots of famous movies.
That puzzle explained all in such few words!

Kudos for a novel concept.

In honor of Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil [just mentioned in the Pennsylvania Trivia w.p.]- here's the short movie plot.

----------That damn groundhog always sees his shadow and we get six more weeks of winter.---------stop shining so many bright lights on him for pete's sake.

[ But Bill Murray finally gets the girl [Andie] after waking up to "I Got You Babe" hundreds of times.]

More info. below.

Punxsutawney Phil, the "seer of seers and prognosticator of prognosticators," is a groundhog resident of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, USA. On February 2, (Groundhog Day) of each year, the town of Punxsutawney celebrates the beloved groundhog with a festive atmosphere of music and food. During the ceremony, which begins well before the winter sunrise, Phil emerges from his temporary home on Gobbler's Knob, located in a rural area about 2 mi (3.2 km) east of town. According to the tradition, if Phil sees his shadow and returns to his hole, the United States will have six more weeks of winter. If Phil does not see his shadow, spring will arrive early. The date of Phil's prognostication is known as Groundhog Day in the United States and Canada. During the rest of the year, Phil lives in the town library with his "wife" Phyllis.

Al, "Groundhog Day" is one of my favorite movies! To everyone else, if you haven't seen it, it's a good one...
